Luxurious and spacious rooms that boast beautiful views of Shelburne Harbour and historic Dock Street. These rooms are found on the second floor of the main house, and feature private ensuites, comfortable sitting areas.

Harbour Suite

A spacious open concept deluxe suite apartment, with the most incredible 360 views of the harbour and town below. 

Located on the third floor with your own private entrance, it's fully self contained and well suited for longer visits or extended stays. Two private queen size beds, full bath with laundry facilities, a fully equipped compact kitchen, dining and living room areas.

  • Yes. All guest rooms at The Cooper’s Inn include private ensuite bathrooms for comfort and privacy.

  • Many of our rooms offer their own take on harbour views, with light and water shifting throughout the day. Two favourites are The Crowell Room, where a private sitting area looks out over the harbour at sunrise, and The Gracie Room, well loved for its west-facing views and gentle evening light as the sun sets.

  • A served breakfast is included with every stay at The Cooper’s Inn and is offered daily in the dining room from 7:30–9:00 am. Guests can enjoy a rotating selection of freshly prepared breakfast options, which change daily, along with some of the best coffee around.

  • Several guest rooms at The Cooper’s Inn are well suited to multi-night stays, offering added space, comfort, and a quiet setting ideal for extended visits to Shelburne and Nova Scotia’s South Shore.

    For couples or families travelling together, the Harbour Suite is often recommended. This fully self-contained suite includes a separate living area and a private kitchen, providing flexibility and comfort for longer stays or guests who prefer the option to prepare their own meals.

  • Check-in is available daily between 3:00–7:00 pm, with our reception desk staffed during those hours. For arrivals after 7:00 pm, including guests arriving via the CAT ferry, a simple self check-in process is provided and sent by email on the day of arrival.

    Check-out is at 11:00 am. If you require a later departure, we’re happy to help where possible—just reach out directly in advance.

  • Yes! Off street parking is available to guests of the inn. You’ll find our dedicated parking lot just past the inn along the garden fence.
