Shelburne Harbour Submarine Races

Pack your Imagination and perhaps some Toys.

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing” ~ George Bernard Shaw

Let the games begin.... You'll arrive at The Cooper's Inn B&B on the shore of Nova Scotia's renowned Shelburne Harbour.

Check in before 5 or you may miss today's Submarine Race...or at the very least Social Hour in the Garden from 5 PM to 6 ...with anticipated good weather conditions.

After Social Hour you likely wander along Dock Street to take in the views and decide on an eatery for your evening meal.

Sunsets are remarkable here. And full moons stunning. Capture the  Clouds if the weather dictates. It's always a good idea to have you camera near at hand.

Place your breakfast order before 9 this evening. Bring your Breakfast appetite in the Morning. Will your breakfast appetizer be an early morning stroll? You'll dine before the real fun begins ....

A Shore thing is a trip to one or more of Shelburne County's  local beaches.

Your Cooper's Picnic will be packed for the occasion. {it's part of the package}. You'll need to keep hydrated and energized.

For the kid in all of us there's a Kite packed with your picnic...no assembly required...just a fair beach breeze and you'll be up and away.  A day to dream and play.

When your Kite needs a rest it may be the time to take in that Taproom Experience at Boxing Rock Brewing Company.

Days and plans are flexible.

Taproom Experiences are available at 2, 3 and 4 PM, though advance booking is required.  Linger after 5PM and you may miss today's Submarine Race.

Today's Submarine Race and Social Hour is simply the warm up for your evening outing. Will a Kayak Tour be part of your plan?

Rain isn't required to call it a 'rain day'. Roll with your freedom.

Visit Shelburne's Museums by the Sea, check out the Black Loyalist Heritage Centre....discover the Acadian Village in West Pubnico or perhaps the natural history found in our parks.

Options abound: Birders may 'plover'...Artists discover...photo ops to explore....or a good book ...there's always more.

Is your new kite calling your name?

Lunch choices abound. A picnic option works too.

Yes the Submarine Races happen every day, no matter the weather...some come early to observe the warm up laps.

Reward yourself with a special meal today. Lobster Boil, Fine and Casual Feast,

or use the voucher to add another day....
