the oldest operating cooperage in North America.

This room is on the second floor of the Cooperage which was the original location of the Shelburne
Barrel Factory before moving across Dock Street in 1917. Fully renovated it features a Queen size
bed and ensuite four piece bath. The vaulted ceiling and large windows give a spacious and bright feel
to the room. The view is the head of Shelburne Harbour.

This lovely bright room is on the ground floor of the Cooperage and opens up into the garden.
Although it is our smallest room it has a Queen size bed and is very comfortable. There is an ensuite
three piece bath (with shower), and the walls are adorned with the floral water colours of Roger
Savage, a well known Nova Scotia artist.
